Introducing Laura
Laura Wilson is one of a small number of physiotherapists working at the intersection of elite sport, high performance business, and genuinely discreet, world class care. As co-founder and Director of The Verbier Touch, The Swiss Touch and KŌR Reformer Pilates, she has spent over a decade building a practice trusted by royalty, business leaders and high profile individuals. For clients who expect the very best and cannot afford to get it wrong, Laura is very often the first call, and her insight is regularly sought by the national press, from The Times and The Telegraph to Marie Claire and Women's Health.
Laura describes herself as a Health Architect rather than a physiotherapist, a distinction she takes seriously. "A physiotherapist treats what is in front of them," she explains. "My role is broader than that. I look at the whole structure of a person's health, how the pieces fit together, where the strain is really coming from, and how each part of their care connects to the next."
That experience shaped how she now works with an international, ultra high net worth clientele. "Many of my clients have access to any specialist in the world, and yet the thing they are missing is the person who listens, connects the findings and stays with them over time," she says. "What I offer is one consistent relationship that travels with them and makes sense of everything else." It is a philosophy of continuity and discretion that extends to the world's most demanding physical environments too. Laura has provided physiotherapy support to an elite motorsport team competing at the 24 hour Le Mans, and competed at national level at 800m herself, experience she says "taught me what it feels like to ask a great deal of your body, and how fine the margins are between performing well and breaking down," and which still shows in how she lives day to day, staying active through skiing and exploring whenever she can.
In 2019, Laura and her close friend and fellow Director Lily Lazarus Jones took the helm of a small Verbier practice and transformed it into The Verbier Touch, now a twenty year institution trusted by the resort's international elite. Demand from clients dividing their time between the Alps and the capital led Laura to open The Swiss Touch in London in 2023, where she is based and treats clients personally today, and in 2025 she co-founded KŌR Reformer Pilates in Verbier, extending the same physio led philosophy to a dedicated Pilates studio. As Director across all three businesses, Laura ensures the same standard holds throughout the wider team: "every clinician in the practice is mentored to the same standard through a structured, ongoing programme, so that whether a client is seen in London or in Verbier, the depth of assessment and the focus on treating the root cause are the same."

In Laura's words
A physiotherapist treats what is in front of them. My role is broader than that, I look at the whole structure of a person's health and how each part of their care connects to the next.
Continuity, discretion, and someone who genuinely holds the whole picture, that is what my clients need most, and what they struggle to find elsewhere.
My clients tend to come for an injury and stay for prevention, because once they understand their own body they would rather protect it than keep repairing it.
