Introducing Lily
Ask around Verbier and most people know Lily Lazarus Jones as the woman who built The Verbier Touch into what it is today. As Director, she now oversees clinical standards across physiotherapy, massage and Pilates for the whole team, and leads its sister brands The Swiss Touch in London and KŌR Reformer Pilates here in Verbier. But talk to her patients and the word that comes up again and again is not "director," it is "invested," the sense that Lily treats every single recovery as if it were the only one on her books that day.
That investment comes from somewhere real. Lily is a Swiss national athlete who represented Switzerland in athletics at the World Transplant Games in Argentina, coming home with two gold medals and a silver, an experience she describes as teaching her exactly the kind of resilience and perseverance her patients need to draw on during a long recovery. It is a rare thing for a physiotherapist to have stood on the start line herself, under real pressure, and it shapes how she talks patients through their own setbacks, calmly and from experience rather than theory alone.
Ten years into practice and with a Master's in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia behind her, Lily's real signature is treating the whole person rather than the injury in isolation, hands on treatment paired with education and a plan that actually fits someone's life, not a generic protocol. She has worked with the International Belgium Bobsleigh Association and Freeride World Tour skiers, but is just as at home making rehabilitation fun and engaging for a child, or helping a busy parent get back to moving comfortably again.

Beyond the clinic
Skiing is close to a second profession for Lily. Living in Verbier year round, she spends as much time on the mountain as the season allows, and in summer swaps skis for hiking boots, usually with her dogs and family in tow. Growing up she competed in skiing, athletics and football, and that competitive streak still surfaces in how seriously she takes staying active herself. Between clinic days, she also raises money for a school in Zambia, a cause close to her heart. She speaks English and French fluently, with conversational German.
In Lily's words
Movement is medicine. You don't need to avoid activity completely, you just need the right type of movement at the right time. Consistency almost always beats intensity.
I want every patient to feel supported, informed and empowered throughout their recovery.
